Living in, and working from Porto were instrumental in the creation of Agatha. The northern region of Portugal, which is known as the textile heart of the country, is home to many skilled factories.

This geographical proximity allowed me to be very selective when choosing my production partners, ones that I can fully trust to execute my vision. I am currently working with two family-run factories that are specialised in knitwear and woven jacquards. They are less than 1 hour drive from my house.

It’s important for me that Agatha is based on close collaborations and a process that is human and enjoyable.
